Bonus Question(s) that Didn't Air on the Live Radio Show

Matthew Peterson: I wanted to ask you a bonus question. And this will be on the website, as I transcribe the interview. You have a lot of fans. If there was something that you could say to your fans, what would it be?

Piers Anthony: Something that I would say to my fans is that I appreciate all of you. I’m closer to my readers than, I think, most authors are. I’ve learned some good things from them. Many of them came to understand me and I’d like to think that I understand them. So, it’s micro-managing, really. And I appreciate all of them.

Matthew Peterson: Thank you very much Piers.

Extra Material That was Cut from the Radio Show Because of Time Constraints

Matthew Peterson: I’ve been doing a lot of research. I’ve actually been reading some of your books recently. And that’s why I contacted you, because when I was a child that’s when my brothers were reading your books, and I was like, “Hey, I remember those covers!”

Piers Anthony: [laughs] Well, you know, one of the things I like is that people read my books as a child, then they’ll come back as an adult and read them and still like them. Which I’m proud that they appreciate.
